A major in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was reprimanded in court Wednesday morning for emailing command staff detailed summaries of witness testimony from the David Bisard trial. Judge John Surbeck called Greg Bieberich to the stand and ordered him to cease all email communications about the trial. Bisard, an Indianapolis cop, is charged with reckless homicide, drunken driving and other crimes related to a 2010 crash that killed one person and injured two others.
