Whoa, Braun is even weaker than I thought. Trump didn’t make a threat, but they’re still selling us out because Braun and the rest of the Indiana GOP is afraid Trump *might* make a threat.
That is absolutely pathetic.
“maintain a good relationship with the Trump Administration…” How about Governer, you maintain a good relationship with those who voted for you? You will look weak and pitiful with a nonsense stance like this. We don’t need to redistrict. We don’t need the expense of redistricting, and average Hoosiers have absolutely nothing to gain by doing so. Stop thinking you must conform to the whims of Trump and start focusing on looking like a leader who has a vision for Indiana.
It is apparent that the Indiana Republican party is ashamed of themselves for being put in this situation. Unfortunately, once you sell out your morals and principles for power, there’s no going back.
I have seen absolutely no evidence of shame.
Exhausting to hear Indiana elected officials state that they are under “no pressure” and then they fall in line like school children walking down a hallway toward the cafeteria for lunch. “More of an appetite for it” according to the Governor. Ring the bell and fall in line children. Time for lunch.
Braun will do whatever Trump asks. It’s up to the Republican leaders of the Indiana House and Senate to show some backbone (which they won’t).
Why would any Hoosier believe anything Braun says? He’s a complete sycophant to trump. Embarrassing.
Not one single Hoosier voter has asked for this. If we felt like things were out of proportion, we would have already said something.
Election rigging!!!!! Donald Trump
