It’s no surprise that 8 of the top 10 most reliant states on federal funding in the article’s cited list are ruby-red states. Unfortunately, the average Republican voter only consumes culture-war media like Fox News or Newsmax and isn’t able to piece together that their lives have gotten worse because of the people they’re putting into office, not the black and brown people who want to live and work here as productive members of society. News flash, they’re coming for your retirement and healthcare next and you won’t have a single democrat to blame it on.
Race baiting, hate and a bloated federal government are all that the dims have to offer. They justify their indignant self-righteousness by comparing US states’ reliance upon federal disbursements with their blather about “ruby red” states versus blue states, and they wonder why they can’t win any state without the support of urban centers that are full of race baiting, hate and the need for their bloated federal government.
Silly dims. Your Trump slip is showing from underneath your skirt again. Look at it in the mirror for the next 3.5 years.
Those “urban centers” are the same ones pay for the handouts that rural communities need to live but can’t be honest with themselves about, leading to a lot of the resentment that you are putting so visibly on display. It’s interesting that you accuse cities of being centers of hate. I look around my urban community and see diversity and love and support for each other. But, by all means, stay away. We’re better off without your attitude around here.
Its hard to feel sorry for Hoosier farmers who consistantly vote a straight repubican ticket to keep idiots in office at the state level. Being lumped in with Louisiana and Mississippi speaks volumes about the decades long super majority legislature which has put Indiana in this situation. Doing more with less is a familiar recipe for failed policy. It seems republicans are more interested in trashing “dims” then thinking about how to fix problems. I don’t hear any solutions to moving us away from Louisiana and Mississippi. Just the tired old “urban center full of hate” BS as an excuse. Many states both red and blue are not compared to Mississippi and Louisiana when it comes to dependency on the fed, and guess what, they have very large urban communities.
