  1. I was devastated that we let Manning go. Still not over it. Was thrilled to see him do so well in Denver and think Irsay got what he deserved. Our team is still trying to recover from it.

I also understand that he loves living in Denver and is still very active with the team. He lives there, so of course it’s easy to be involved. Coupled with the fact that their fans consider him 100% Bronco, I try to avoid reading much about him anymore.

It feels like to me that Peyton pretty much considers himself an active Bronco and the Colts are nothing but an object in the rear view mirror. We sent him away, so what’s he supposed to do.

That said, the whole thing makes me sad and depressed so I try my best to just look away. Stories like this one kill me.

    1. This whole post is something alot of Colts fans are still in denial about. It’s as if they don’t know that he is a competitive, cocky, grudge holding individual. I presume hell do the bare minimum with the Colts merely for PR purposes l, but make no mistake – I believe he will have malice towards the Colts until near the end of his life.

    2. It will be interesting to see how he is represented in the Hall of Fame with a helmet and jersey: as a Colt, or as a Bronco.
