  1. What a mess. Again. Why not just hire people who resemble each other and Newfields. DEI is done, so why make pretenses, Hire whomever is best for the position and treat each person fairly. Of course, all know that hiring [everywhere] is often based on connections and not necessarily on skills, Far too often those who do not follow the unofficial codes of conduct will find themselves unfairly ignored, reviewed, ousted or defamed. Those who expose malfeasance and poor business practices seems to guaranteed a boot and accompanying bad reviews, albeit bogus. Could it be racial or just general dysfunction at high levels or a bit of both. Would courts really be fair? As the worst aspects of the current administration flow throughout all endeavors, it is clear that meritocracy has been jettisoned in favor of mindless following; avenues for whistleblowing have been brazenly blocked; one should not expect fairness or equality.

    1. DEI is dead because it wasn’t needed – but also no one hired on merit just based on their family connections ?

      Lol
