  1. That’s great news for the city of Indianapolis.
Congratulations to all those involved in making our convention center
    business what it is.

I spoke with a vendor that attends the Gen Con conventions. He said that Indy
is by far the best venue. No one else is even close.

  2. Certain things just fits better in Indy than anywhere else. You wouldn’t have The Country Music awards move out of Nashville simply because you don’t like the politics there. Nashville is country music and the vibe would just be different in another city. Indy is a convention city and sports town so conventions that fits Indy’s pro folio only makes sense to keep here regardless the political atmosphere because the fans will come no matter what. This shouldn’t be used as a tool to make political agendas or it will take from the purpose of the true intent of the convention. Plus Chicago is having issues with teens taking over certain parts of town and causing mayhem. Chicago has a lot of social issues that wouldn’t exactly be in the best interest of many convention goers.

  3. But, but, they said if abortion was banned they weren’t coming back. Full of hot air and sticking their noses in where it doesn’t belong. People who don’t live here need to mind their own business.

  4. What happened to all the predictions of all the conventions leaving for more liberal leaning cities because Indianapolis was too mean? I guess people don’t care to get an abortion while in town gaming.
