    1. Yeah… Who cares if those higher wages can’t buy more because of stagflation. When the economy contracts and automakers have to start laying people off, this is going to look pretty short sighted.

    That said, look at the prose and positioning of the headline. No words like “divisive” “controversial” or “conflicting”. It’s a very benign “scrambled”

    1. That’s why unions continue to dwindle. The balance between costs (union dues, higher prices) to value created (higher pay, job security) is way off. Membership reached a record low in 2023.
