  1. This guy is motivated solely by the price of cars going up so he can negotiate for even higher wages for his union… I hope no republican is viewing this as a W

    1. Yeah… Who cares if those higher wages can’t buy more because of stagflation. When the economy contracts and automakers have to start laying people off, this is going to look pretty short sighted.

  2. Props to IBJ for regurgitating the article. I thought it would get buried and happily stand corrected
    That said, look at the prose and positioning of the headline. No words like “divisive” “controversial” or “conflicting”. It’s a very benign “scrambled”

    1. That’s why unions continue to dwindle. The balance between costs (union dues, higher prices) to value created (higher pay, job security) is way off. Membership reached a record low in 2023.
