  1. Maybe the State could include in their budget maintenance of the Capitol lawn looks terrible compared to other state capitols with weeds and bare spots.

  2. Raising the speed limit on I-465 is a great win. Our regional competitor Ohio and Michigan cities already benefit from higher urban speed limits.

    1. There’s so much congestion on 465 right now, it’s not likely to matter during rush-hour.

I don’t particularly care for the provision that gives INDOT a green light for tolling without further legislative input.

  3. So we’ve solved all the other problems and gotten rid of hate crimes against all and have the spare capacity to take on another state’s ignored land? Wow…I must be imagining that 86th street is a cheese grater of road herpes, the k-12 schools are now out ranking Massachusetts in standardized testing, and our healthcare systems are treating people equitably and with fiscal responsibility.
Hatefilled Huston and Bigoted Braun are really doing a fantastic job of retconning us all like the various tools in DC…

  4. When I first saw the headline, I mistakenly took “local road funding” as something to fix streets. Then I read it was nothing of the kind.

  5. Indiana legislation to study the absorption of secessionist Illinois counties is the dumbest idea and the biggest waste of time. Please study items that really matter to Hoosiers. I won’t list all of the items because it will take too much space but believe me that absorbing Illinois counties is not on that list
