AI’s negative impact on those entering the economy with advanced skills and significant investment in their education coupled with the acute and residual impact of COVID on this same generation of workers is a One-Two punch that could trigger a revolution against an older generation and the ownership class. “Losing” a generation has never ended well in history. This is a brewing crisis that must be addressed honestly, creatively, and quickly.
Agreed. Just like the advent of the internet. While it has brought society so much good, it has also opened a door to much evil, like the dark web, cyber crime and social media. Social media alone is destroying civil society and has led to the current divide amongst Americans.
