Dozens of downtown businesses to offer WNBA-themed specials during All-Star Weekend

As Indianapolis prepares to host the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, city officials and local businesses are coordinating efforts to expand the All-Star experience beyond the court.

A variety of options—including themed menu items, limited-time promotions, and interactive experiences—are planned by numerous Indianapolis-area businesses, dubbed Hot Spots, accessible to visitors regardless of whether they have tickets for the July 19 game.

Nearly 30 participating restaurants, breweries, hotels and entertainment venues across the city will have WNBA-inspired items or promotions available July 18-20, aligning with scheduled All-Star activities.

Dianna Boyce, project coordinator and Legacy co-chair of the WNBA All-Star Host Committee, said the promotions attract customers, in turn drawing in business for participating locations. Boyce said the goal is to create an environment where people can engage with the All-Star Game in multiple ways.

“We like to make opportunities available to the general public who come down to experience the game that may never set foot in the venue,” Boyce said.

Many venues are also offering deals tied to providing proof of purchased WNBA tickets or team apparel, and some are also drawing on the occasion to promote donating to charities and nonprofit organizations.

To add to the atmosphere, the committee has made branded materials such as coasters and signage available to participating businesses.

“Whether you’re walking outside on the street or you’re going into some of these establishments, you really know All-Star is happening,” Boyce said, “because everywhere you look, there’s All-Star.”
