It’s become a serious issue on Amazon, especially for anything that has comingled inventory. So even if you are buying directly from Amazon, if Amazon fulfills deliveries for third party sellers on the same item, Amazon and the third party’s inventory are mixed together at the warehouse. So if the third party is shipping counterfeits, you can still wind up with counterfeits even if you only buy from Amazon as the seller. It’s why I don’t buy any flash memory devices from Amazon anymore. Also seeing it with some electronics like bluetooth and wifi speakers, and I even got a counterfeit microphone.
