At the very least, the Capital Improvement Board, Colts and, maybe, the Indiana Sports Corporation (NCAA and IHSAA, too) should look at this issue and consider making a change at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Say whatever you like, Indianapolis is a city, whose track record for hosting sporting events and conventions is world class. By that I mean, this is exactly the type of issue Indianapolis is brilliant at, getting out in front of and solving. A change would make sense, not only for the Colts, but for the high school players who play on that surface for the IHSAA State Football Championships, as well as for the college football players who take the field there.
The NFLPA may want to look at Meta and play in the virtual reality. Long gone are the days of player being fortunate enough to play the game to we don’t want to on slit film.
NFL football is indicative of society, entitled!
