Love this! I was planning to buy the service, but now I might add the 6 – 10 game package. Finally, a way for us non-cable people to watch nearly every Pacer game.
“All account holders will be required to input their credit card information, but won’t be charged at the monthly rate (about $20) until after the six-month complimentary period is over”
So Pacers fans will be required to keep track of when they sign up and when they have to cancel and will then have to remember to get a new code each year. If you forget to cancel, $20 per month. Also, how do you cancel this, is it as easy as clicking a button online or is it like cancelling a gym membership and you need to call? I foresee a lot of pitfalls especially for older less tech savvy Pacers season ticket holders.
It’s the 2020’s, it’s easy to cancel just about any kind of subscription with a few clicks. I’m sure anyone watching Bally Sports+ (which is a streaming service) probably knows how to use a smart phone or laptop should they need to cancel.
Put a reminder on your calendar.
But it is a fair question as to how easy it might be to cancel (I won’t sign up for SiriusXM because it’s a pain to cancel.)
If it’s like many/most other streaming services, you don’t even need to wait to cancel. You can cancel it right after you’ve created your account and redeemed the code for the complimentary trial period. You’ll then have your full access until the expiration date six months out, at which point it just stops working.
@JOE B:
.
You would CANCEL SiriusXM? Blasphemy!
Phillip – I refuse to sign up, so not guilty! 🙂
This seems meaningless.
