  1. To me they have to improve their image. My mom had to visit one of the urgent care/er centers over the holiday. The service was great. When it was time to transfer to a hospital it wasn’t Riverview it was St V’s in Carmel. I have never heard good things about the hospital. When people ask online it’s always IU or St V’s not Riverview. With Community moving to Westfield 2 miles from the Riverview Westfield location things don’t look good for that location with 15 beds. Maybe they need to make Westfield the main modern hospital.

  2. Riverview is jokingly referred to locally as “Deathview”. My wife fell unconcious one evening and as the crew was moving the cot asked “what hospital?”. My wife came around long enough to reply; “If you take me to Riverview I will hurt you”. Needless to say she did not go to Riverview 🙂

  3. I know … let all of these inefficient and ineffective not for profits infringe on each others territories and become even more ineffective and inefficient so that the quality of healthcare goes down even more … and to top it off more costly. Healthcare in America is broken and allowing more unprofitability to fester via not for profit entities is just insane. They will build fancy new buildings at too much cost and extravagance and we will pay for it. We are just delaying the inevitable – socialized medicine.

  4. Installment 1 of the Parkview standard-practices implementation: Predatory Pricing 101

    Installment 2: Monopolistic Market Manipulation

Installment 3: Slick PR to offset accurate news coverage of above conduct.
