All three are near Shreveport, which is in the northwestern corner of Louisiana and 350 miles from the coast.
“We’re not impacted at all,” said spokeswoman Liz Swaine.
As is the case with most hurricanes, including Katrina and Rita three years ago, Calumet’s main concern was the potential for power outages and heavy rain.
The refineries generate gasoline and other fuels as well as specialty lubricants used in products ranging from cosmetics to candles.
Gustav made landfall south of New Orleans yesterday morning as a Category Two hurricane but was downgraded to a tropical depression today.
