Police are searching for a scam artist who pretends to be a city utility inspector. So far, the thief has targeted older
women in locations including Clinton County north of Indianapolis, Cicero, Zionsville and Speedway. Investigators say the
scammer gets the victims to go behind their homes with him, instructs them to wait outside, then goes inside and steals valuables.
