A six-week-old girl remains in critical condition at Methodist Hospital after being rescued following a car accident Friday
in Madison County. Morgan Badgley and her mother, Vicky, were traveling on U.S. 36 when they were struck by a truck. Larry
Prichard, a retired state trooper and CPR instructor, saw the accident, stopped and performed several chest compressions,
helping revive the infant. The baby’s parents called Prichard their hero. The parents say Morgan has some bleeding and
swelling on the brain, but they are hopeful of a recovery.
