According to Greenfield police, Deputy Michael Robinson had a blood-alcohol content of 0.16—twice the legal limit for driving—when he was tested after the Tuesday morning crash. Investigators thought the icy roads caused Robinson to lose control of his vehicle, but department protocol calls for routine blood-alcohol testing after accidents.
