An Indianapolis high school principal has apologized to students after he was caught driving while intoxicated. Michael Brandt, 44, the principal of Lutheran High School, was pulled over after midnight Jan. 8 for speeding on Prospect Street, according to police. His blood alcohol content was tested at nearly twice the legal limit. He was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding and failure to carry a certificate of registration.
