TCC said the acquisition of Urbana, Illinois-based Vertex Solutions Group LLC and Triple Impact will increase total employment at TCC from 200 to 250.
Terms of the deal, which closed April 18, were not disclosed.
VSG specializes in learning management systems. It has worked with commercial and federal clients for more than 25 years. Its programs help clients such as Jiffy Lube standardize technical certification.
Triple Impact is expected to add business-consulting expertise in the agriculture, information technology, animal health and pharmaceutical industries.
Founded in 1996, TCC is nominated for a 2017 Mira Award in the Tech Company of the Year ($20M-plus) category.
