The one great thing about SWA just left….Herb Keller’s napkin dream is falling apart.
Hedge funds and private equity kill a lot of things.
So now they’re exactly the same as the other members of the “big 4”, but with least reliable flight route network.
Nice.
Greed. Greed. Greed. If your stockholders are making money, your bills are paid and at the end of the day you are in the black, everything else is just greed.
Although I won’t miss the silly little game of lining up to board in As, Bs and Cs, I did frequently select Southwest because of the bags fly free benefit. I will definitely take that loss into consideration when I book my next flights.
+1
This was such a benefit for families. I would preferentially fly southwest for business to accrue points to spend on family vacations. Free checked bags and the ability to family board was wonderful. I’ve already rebooked my next flights to delta.
