3 thoughts on “Tesla CEO Elon Musk won’t join Twitter’s board after all

  1. The free speech response to Musk’s issues with Twitter, if he actually understood what the first amendment meant, would be to start his own social media network.

  2. Elon is not used to being a team player, especially on a board where he would have fiduciary responsibilities to put investor interests above all else (including free speech). He may not have understood that until Twitter’s CEO spelled it out in blunt writing. So he changed course and decided to not join the board. That leaves two options for him: sell the shares he just bought, and attempt a hostile takeover of Twitter by offering to buy all the shares where he and he alone can rule the rust. Any bets on which path he will pursue?

    1. agreed Brent B. he dumps the stock and crashes the price, takes control through the purchase of much cheaper stock. He’ll be selling Tesla’s on it soon
