  1. And who then pays for the healthcare of 10.9 million people? Even if you ascribe to Ernst’s “everyone is going to die” philosophy someone has to pay the bill and dying ain’t cheap – especially in Indiana.

    1. They will! The Republican position is that healthcare is a privilege, not a right. If you’re poor, healthcare is your problem.

  2. Same old, same old, doesn’t matter who the president or Congress is, both sides, all sides do the same old thing every few years, and the other sides all make the same claims and accusations. It’s not Groundhog Day but it is Deja vu.

    1. The difference is that Democrats try to pay for their spending like they did in the bipartisan IRA, which the CBO estimated would REDUCE the deficit $200B over a decade. The last president to reduce the deficit was Clinton. So-called fiscal conservatives seem to be the only ones who can’t confront the reality that you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

  3. Sounds like a “Big” mistake that will create a “Beautiful” mess and stick future generations with an insurmountable “Bill”
