It’s all just nonsense. We shouldn’t change the clock, and it really doesn’t matter if the clock says it’s 8, or 12, or 173 o’clock. The sun rises and sets at different times every single day. Changing the clock doesn’t change how the world turns.
If you want schools to start later in winter, tell that to the schools! There’s no law that school has to start at the same time all year.
If you want events to happen during daytime hours, tell that to the event organizers! There’s no law that they can’t have that evening event at 7 instead of 8.
