  1. Wait, I’m confused on the numbers. If the annual rate of inflation this month was 6.4%, does that mean the average inflation over the last 12 months was 6.4%, and inflation is actually negative for last month (down 0.1%) or that if you took this months inflation rate and multiplied it by 12, you would get 6.4%, so it’s still positive for the month (up .533333 for the month)?
