Indiana hospital network.
John W. "Jack" Heiney’s donation is the largest financial gift ever made to
the Community Health Network Foundation.
The money will help fund efforts to improve outreach, wellness and prevention
programs at Community Health Network’s four Indianapolis hospitals and more than 90 health care sites.
Heiney says
his donation to the network’s philanthropic foundation was made in part to celebrate his wife, Betty, who passed away in July
2009 after nearly seven decades of marriage.
Indiana Gas Co. merged with Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Co.
in 2001 to form Vectren.
