  1. What a waste of time and money. WIsh they would “lay out” plans for improved roads; bike paths; sidewalks; better trash pickup; decaying neighborhoods; beautification projects; signage; parks; White River development; etc

  2. Equity is literally a Marxist concept, embraced by low-wattage SJWs that certainly don’t want to consider the reality that differences in effort, behavior, and ability accounts for the vast majority of disparities in economic, educational, and criminal outcomes in society.

On the other hand, it’s a bonanza for the racial justice snake oil consultants and lets most of our council avoid telling their constituents that their problems start with themselves and the people in their lives.

Easy prediction: 5, 10, 15, 20 years from now, there will still be big differences in the social ills our leaders were supposed to cure, they will say its because they need even more ‘investment’ and resources, and our roads will remain worse than Kabul’s. And the council will have greatly improved its pay over that time period for all their great work.
