    1. How the heck do you that, Doug? No one has any idea the rate of false positives on a novel virus.

    2. Sorry, meant to say “How the heck do you make that assertion, Doug? No one has any idea the rate of false positives on a novel virus.”

  1. Editor: ““The reality is that those individuals, if they’re otherwise healthy and they’re doing well—they don’t develop severe shortness of breath or chest pain or their fevers don’t resolve—can basically just stay at home and get better,” Box said.” Pretty sure they mean to say if their fevers “do” resolve, not “don’t” resolve.

  2. “Gov. Eric Holcomb said he is confident the state is getting the help it needs from the federal government… We are good right now,” Holcomb said. “They are responding to every need that we’ve had so far.” HAHAHAHA

How the heck can he characterize the situation in this way when, due to a shortage of tests provided by the federal govenment (setting aside blame where it may or may not be due), and the strict rules about who is allowed to get a test, they’ve only tested 73 people statewide!! AND his own State Health Commissioner, Kristina Box (sitting next to Holcomb who are unbeleivably both smiling!) says the true count is probably closer to 100,000.

    1. As I cited the other day, California has 8,000 kits for 40 million people, so that guarantees the number of confirmed California positives will be [no more than] 8,000; extrapolate that to the remainder of the country and…
