As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIBJ should be more selective and thoughtful before publishing letters written to its editor. Daniel Egenoff is clearly opposed to vaccines, but his reasoning is so much nonsense [“Letter: Many educated people aren’t following vaccine herd,” Feb. 3].
He claims he and others chose not to get vaccinated because he and they “have done the research, observed the results and found that vaccines don’t work.” Does Mr. Egenoff have a 30,000-member study group with reviewed results that have been accepted by the scientific community? Very doubtful.
It is well documented that hospitals nationwide are running short on beds and health care workers because of people who refuse to be vaccinated, bring their sick bodies to a hospital, then reject well-established science to pursue what they claim is their freedom.
Indiana once had a congressman, Earl Landgrebe, who was a strong supporter of President Nixon and infamously said, “Don’t confuse me with the facts. My mind is made up.” Mr. Egenoff is from the same closed minded Hoosier gang. Not attractive and not publishable. Shame on IBJ for having such low standards.
