The headline is misleading, in that the battery maker is not “relocating” to Indianapolis in its entirety. Just 10 months ago the company opened its new corporate headquarters with sales and research-and-development functions in Phoenix, and will establish its manufacturing function in Indianapolis.

But…but…We were told by another commenter only yesterday that Indiana is losing new business ventures like this to Ohio because Indiana’s allegedly reactionary Republican legislators have the audacity to not allow confused boys to play girls sports and share locker room facilities with real girls! If that is so, how could we “land” a high-tech battery company, for heaven’s sake?
