  1. Is this posted same day as hearing? This reminds me of the old commercial with the high-booted fisherman with a dollar on the line telling the fish they have to “be quicker than that”.

  2. Yep. Another example of the IBJ providing the public mere hours notice of something scheduled for a public hearing. IBJ, you can do whatever you please as a private business, but why wouldn’t you see the value of informing your readers a little earlier about a public process that they might want to participate in?

    1. In fact, if you’re going to wait until the day of the hearing to publish, your readers would probably be better served if you waited another day and reported what actually happened at the hearing.

  3. We will see if a post-hearing report is published. Spoiler alert: the well-organized neighborhood remonstrators persuaded the Commission to unanimously deny the petition which had been supported by the planning staff.
