Can’t find the story on SV’s website. IBJ have a link or the list of Indy area sites to be closed?
St. V has not issued a press release on this (at least not yet). Nor have they announced which sites will close, as the story says.
This story is covered on an Evansville news channel and others as well, so if true, the closures could be anywhere. Very vague post by IBJ. Maybe the story should have been allowed to “develop” more before posting.
Sorry, John, I misread the last sentence.
Immediate care & family practice loses money. No surprise.
If you are closing 11 “retail” locations tomorrow, don’t you think you would announce which ones?
they did
Here is a list of the locations that will close. An Ascension spokeswoman said that doctors’ offices attached to sites will remain open; only the walk-in clinics will close.
Frankfort Walk-In Care
Anderson Walk-In Care and Occupational Medicine
Elwood Walk-In Care and Occupational Health
Brownsburg Walk-In Care
Crawfordsville Walk-In Care
Fishers Walk-In Care
Kokomo Walk-in Care and Occupational Medicine
Broad Ripple Walk-In Care
Warrick Walk-In Care (Boonville)
Westside Crossing Walk-In Care (Evansville)
Northside Crossing Walk-In Care (Evansville)
Locations are in the story.
Are any of these the The Little Clinic (TLC) that are in kroger stores?
it says on bottom of story which ones are closing
I cannot read the story. Are Kroger The Little Clinics included?
They make more money by causing more patients to use the ER”s. It’s not about better patient care, it is about more profit !
They need the money to pay for the new building on 86th at the hospital bill. No story either on cutting jobs at their IT Medxcel division and making them go through the entire job, interview, paperwork, drug test etc. Losing any benefits or PTO they had acquired being at St Vincent.
Ascension referred them to a certain contractor but it was as if they were interviewing for the first time.
