Indianapolis-based Shiel Sexton Co. has appointed Kevin Hunt as president.
Hunt, 50, assumes that role from Mike Dilts, 63, who remains CEO and chairman.
Hunt will remain chief operating officer. Since joining Shiel Sexton in 1989, Hunt has held multiple positions, including project manager, estimator and vice president of operations.
The move comes as the company looks to solidify succession during a prosperous period for the company. In 2018, it generated $373 million in revenue, up from $366 million the prior year.
Shiel Sexton in 2016 became 100 percent employee-owned, following the 2012 rollout of an employee stock ownership plan.•
