Sgt. Jeff McKay of the Kokomo Police Department has resigned amid a welfare-fraud investigation. The resignation, effective
Friday, comes one week after state officials said they intended to pursue the felony fraud case against McKay and his wife.
He and his wife, Kasey McKay, are accused of failing to report they were married so that she could continue to receive food
stamps and housing assistance. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
