Indianapolis-based Vision Racing on July 19 signed a sponsorship deal with Fuzzy’s Premium Vodka, a line of vodka recently
introduced by retired golfer Fuzzy Zoeller and produced in Indiana.
Financial terms of the deal were not released, but motorsports business experts said it was a six-figure deal.
The deal will allow Vision, which is owned by Indy Racing League founder Tony George, to put driver Ed Carpenter on the track
for three races.
Carpenter, George’s stepson, will race at IRL races in Chicago Aug. 28, Kentucky on Sept. 4, and in the season finale
at Homestead-Miami Oct. 2.
