One of Terre Haute’s most notorious residents was Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. Playwright Edmund White, fascinated by the correspondence between the killer and writer Gore Vidal, created a fictional drama in which two similar men meet. The result: his 2006 play “Terre Haute.”

Crossroads Repertory Theatre—a company based in the real Terre Haute—is bringing its Midwest premiere production to Indianapolis for a one-weekend run.  Details here.
