IndyGo airport route extended through 2011

IndyGo’s Green Line Airport Express, a route funded by a federal grant that was slated to end next month, now will continue through at least December 2011.

The bus system’s announcement in May that its current service and fare structure will remain intact through 2011 helped to extend the life of the route.

It delivers non-stop service between Indianapolis International Airport and downtown Indianapolis daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The fee for the route is $7 per trip, with half fares available to riders 65 and older, 18 and younger, and to people with disabilities.
