Sunday was a record-setting day for Indianapolis with temperatures reaching 88 degrees, and parts of the state are on track to break more records Monday. With these unseasonably warm temperatures comes an increased danger for fire. The National Weather Service canceled a fire watch for Monday, but local officials say that cancellation does not affect the burn bans currently in effect. Currently, 69 counties are under burn bans.
