Baby found safe in stolen car

An 11-month-old Indianapolis boy was unharmed Wednesday when the car he was riding in was stolen at gunpoint. The child’s mother, who was not identified, told police that her boyfriend jumped out of the car at about 10:30 p.m. to break up a fight near Pleasant Run Parkway and Sherman Drive. That's when one of the men in the altercation ran to their car and took it, she said. Police found the car with the baby inside about 10 minutes later.
