IPS changes transportation policy


Indianapolis Public Schools unanimously approved a change to its private-vehicle transportation policy Wednesday in response to a crash that killed 13-year-old Justice Holifield in March. The new measure prohibits teachers and staff from transporting students in their personal vehicles. Band Teacher Kyle Bieda collided with a semi while driving with three students in her car in the accident that killed Holifield.
