Regarding the [Sept. 3] story about refinancing bonds for the RCA Dome and Conseco Fieldhouse, what never seems to get mentioned anymore is that we, the citizens of Indianapolis, are still on the hook for around $70 million on a facility (RCA Dome) that was reduced to an ash heap three years ago and only cost $77 million to build over 26 years ago.
That is the true definition of insanity.
