From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., almost all Indiana State Police posts will act as drop-off sites for expired, unused or unwanted prescriptions drugs. The initiative's goal is to stem prescription-drug abuse and theft. The program is free and anonymous. Police at 60 agencies collected and destroyed more than 8,000 pounds of drugs during a similar event in April. Click here for a list of drop-off locations.
