Thank you for allowing Peter Rusthoven [Aug. 19] to respond to Sheila Kennedy’s outlandish column on the Detroit bankruptcy. I am disappointed in the IBJ for even printing Kennedy’s column. It was so full of Democratic Party talking points that it was laughable. I decry the current status of both parties, but mainly Democrats, using sophomoric phrases that devolve into platitudes. It is so obvious when every one of the operatives uses the same wording and expresses the same thought. Please ban her from further columns or at least make sure she provides helpful and objective points of view.
