Convention group signs Young & Laramore as agency-of-record

The Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association signed a deal this month to make locally based Young & Laramore its advertising agency of record.

Young & Laramore will support the ICVA's efforts in the areas of advertising, branding and marketing support services. The agency was chosen after a selection process that included responses from 13 advertising agencies from central Indiana.

The deal couldn't come at a better time for Y&L, which recently lost one of its biggest clients, Steak n Shake.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the ICVA to help position Indianapolis for future success," said Paul Knapp, Young & Laramore CEO. "It is work that is important on so many levels. This city has become such a great product. It is time for Indianapolis to become a great national brand."
