AeroRepair Corp., a Londonderry, New Hampshire-based aircraft maintenance service provider, has opened a satellite facility near Indianapolis International Airport, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. announced Tuesday.

The IEDC said AeroRepair and sister company Hemico Inc. are spending $670,085 to lease, renovate and equip a facility of more than 11,000 square foot at 1810 S. Lynhurst Drive.

The facility, which opened in November, is expected to have 27 workers by the end of 2018. Seventeen full-time employees have already been hired, the IEDC said.

The IEDC offered the company up to $190,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the job-creation plans.

AeroRepair, which has 60 employees nationwide, offers aircraft brake, wheel and landing-gear repairs and overhauls for regional, general and corporate aircraft throughout the Midwest. It was founded in 1994.
