  1. Many small businesses are about to go under as a direct result of the tariffs. The big industries will get pauses and bailouts or the capital to ride out the storm. In the meantime, the “little guys” are going to go under and lose their businesses because they just can’t build their products in the U.S. at a cost that is fiscally feasible and the tariffs also go beyond what their margins can cover.
