  1. This reminds me of the old saw that “a camel is nothing more than a horse designed by a committee.”

    The only problem is that the “committee” consists of all the right-wing Republicans in the state legislature who are more interested in fighting culture wars than in doing any serious work on important policy issues. Nothing in the altered legislation will make Indiana students smarter or better prepared for adulthood.

    Which reminds me of another old saw, that “if you’re not a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.”
