  1. Clearly, he has had a great run, in what has been some very difficult times! I applaud, congratulate and appreciate his leadership…… I was at IU during Herman B Well’s time. ….. he was a fantastic leader for IU…..

  2. In my view, Dr. McRobbie has been one of the outstanding and successful IU presidents of the modern era. We are so lucky that he chose IU, which should have chosen him sooner. Celebrating IU’s Bicentennial in 2019-20 should have been only wonderful, but the start of the COVID saw that it was cut short. Now his final year is shepherding the school through the rest of the COVID chaos. He is going to so deserve a happy and meaningful retirement, but he will be hard to replace and very much missed.
