There are segments of the city that lend themselves to the development of many different music genres. For example, the Indiana Avenue area lends itself to blues and jazz as a natural bow to 100 years ago and Wes Montgomery and others. The south side of downtown might lend itself to country and maybe Broad Ripple to rock and pop. Lastly, this will only work if the mayor and prosecutor get control of violent crime.
