The owners of Monterey Coastal Cuisine in Carmel announced plans Tuesday to open a sister restaurant in the Nickel Plate area of Fishers called Tiburon Coastal Cuisine.
The eatery is expected to open in early fall 2022 at 8701 E. 116th in the First Internet Bank Building, on the south side of 116th Street, west of the Interstate 69 interchange.
Monterey Coastal Cuisine opened in April in a 6,700-square-foot space formerly occupied by Scotty’s Brewhouse on the ground floor of Carmel’s Sophia Square building at 110 W. Main St.
Owned by former homebuilder Paul Estridge Jr. and former Kona Grill General Manager Chris Thomas, Monterey Coastal offers a high-end menu featuring fresh seafood, sushi, steak, sandwiches, flatbreads and more. Entree prices range from $14 to $46.
The owners said Tiburon Coastal Cuisine will have a similar, but not identical, menu.
First Internet Bank will serve as landlord for the restaurant.
“The success of Monterey in combination with the incredible location at First Internet Bank in the Nickel Plate district inspired us to take the next step in opening Tiburon,” Estridge said in written remarks.
ALO Property Group was listing real estate broker for the Fishers space, and Urban Space Commercial Properties served as broker for Tiburon.
